HYMNS

Here are some recordings of Todd playing hymns from the Lutheran Hymnal-1941, the Christian Worship Hymnal and
other sources. He used a program called
Hauptwerk, a virtual pipe organ software program to get the sound from real pipe organs.
Most pieces are recorded where the sound came from an organ in Illinois (1928 Mt. Carmel E.M. Skinner Organ) and hymns that he recorded on and after May 29. 2017 come
from an organ in England (1877 Salisbury Cathedral Willis Organ).
Clicking on the hymn number or piece name will bring you to a page where you will see a player you can click on to hear the piece and see the page from the hymnal to sing along if you wish.
Of course the sound will be better with a good sound system, but you should be able to hear the music using your mobile phone, tablets and desktop computers. The volume will vary on the hymns.
For hymns that are recorded with the Salisbury Cathedral Organ, you will see a link "Stops used", this will bring you to a separate page that shows what stops I used for that hymn. Since I do not have any pedals, no pedal stops will be marked.
I did not keep track of any stops used for the Carmel Skinner Organ.
